The header photo is of the ukiyo-e woodblock print The Great Wave off Kanagawa by legendary Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai.  One of the most recognizable works of Japanese art, It was published in the late Edo period as the first print in Hokusai’s world famous series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji.
